The 暑期学者学院 is designed to help new students transition to college-level courses. Whether you are a first-year student who recently graduated from high school or a student returning to school after time away, this program is designed to be a 免费的 alternative to developmental courses, saving you time and money.

Summer Scholars 2023 is a hybrid program with 周一 and 周二 classes in person at Anoka Tech and remote classes 周三 and 周四.

资格要求
学生 must meet all of the following requirements to qualify for Summer Scholars.

- Incoming new students who have been accepted to Anoka Tech.
- 学生 who have not attended a 明尼苏达州 college or university in the past year (fall '22 or spring '23 semesters).
- Accuplacer score(s) in the following range:
- 阅读: 下一个 Gen score 215-249 (Classic 40-77). 阅读 score is also used to determine 写作/English placement.
- 数学 (Arithmetic): 下一个 Gen score 200-264 (Classic 30-70)
While Summer Scholars can help students prepare for college-level courses, students will still have to meet any additional admissions requirements for programs that have specific admission requirements.

Program activities are focused on building skills in reading, writing, and math. This work will not only help become a stronger student, but can help you focus on the road ahead, which may save you time and money.
The 暑期学者学院 is ideal for getting to know peers who can support you during the program and beyond. The program is only open to a limited number of students, providing ample opportunity for you to get to know those participating as you work, 学习, 认为, 一起玩得开心.
